Simtronics DG-TT7 & DG-RT7 Gas Detectors
Simtronics DG-TT7 and DG-RT7 series by Teledyne is part of the DG7 family of
gas detectors. All have a common mode of operation for standardised training
and maintenance.
The range is split into two categories:
- DG-TT7/S uses a solid-state metal-oxide-semiconductor sensor. For the
detection of Hydrogen Sulphide. The DG-RT7/S versions have a Syntel
output.
- DG-TT7/K features a thermal conductivity sensor to monitor explosion
risks posed by flammable gases or vapours (hydrogen, hydrocarbons,
alcohol, etc.). The DG-RT7/K versions have a Syntel output. The
principle is very stable and can operate at high gas concentrations. In
this configuration, the presence of oxygen is not essential, and
catalytic poisoning is not an issue.
Microprocessor-driven, configurable using a wireless hand-held terminal (TLU)
or by using a hard-wired HART protocol option, providing installation
options and reduced service costs. Relay operation and alarm levels can be
set using the TLU, a hazardous-area-approved device.
