Meridian Universal Fixed Gas Detector

Whether you need an infrared or catalytic bead sensor to detect combustible gases or an electrochemical sensor for a toxic environment, the Meridian universal gas detector utilises a single detector head to accept all sensor types easily.

There is no requirement for different personality boards in the gas detector or other detector heads to make the instrument behave as a combustible or toxic gas detector.

Installation of the sensor is a simple plug-and-play action. Attach the specific toxic or combustible sensor to the universal detector head, and the Meridian gas detector will automatically determine the type of gas to be detected. Several ranges are available with each gas sensor to meet your specific application.

Sensors provide reliable performance even in harsh temperature and humidity environments with minimal drift. High specificity means less interference from other gases, reducing cross-sensitivity and the likelihood of false alarm. You can perform sensor replacements without powering down the instrument or declassifying an area.

All accessories fit the universal detector head; no need to purchase different accessories for toxic and combustible monitoring. Global approvals allow deployment anywhere in the world.

Supports industry-standard communication protocols, including 4-20 mA analogue, MODBUS, and wired HART.
